Assignment Description

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer for an assignment focused on building and enhancing infrastructure that improves the developer experience.

What You Will Work On

• Design and develop backend solutions that streamline and automate software development workflows
• Improve and maintain version control infrastructure for large-scale engineering environments
• Build and optimize systems that enhance developer productivity and efficiency
• Collaborate with platform and infrastructure teams to deliver integrated solutions
• Contribute to the design of scalable, reliable, and user-friendly development platforms
• Support and maintain system stability, performance, and reliability
• Drive improvements in build systems and development pipelines
• Work with AI tools and technologies to enhance engineering workflows

What You Bring

• Minimum 6 years of experience in backend or infrastructure engineering
• Strong programming experience in Java
• Solid understanding of Linux systems and networking fundamentals
• Experience building and deploying solutions in cloud environments (GCP or AWS)
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerized environments
• Strong knowledge of Git and version control systems (GitHub preferred, GitLab as alternative)
• Experience working with HTTP and distributed systems
• Familiarity with AI tools and their application in development workflows
• Strong commitment to best practices such as testing, CI/CD, and code quality
• Experience working with large-scale systems across multiple teams
