Senior Tech Lead

Job Description

The client is seeking an experienced Senior Tech Lead to provide strategic technical leadership across projects. The role involves defining the technical direction, ensuring high-quality solution delivery, and strengthening collaboration between engineering teams and key stakeholders.

This position combines deep technical expertise with leadership capabilities to drive innovation, maintain system reliability, and ensure effective execution of complex automotive projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and communicate the technical vision, system architecture, and engineering best practices in collaboration with the client’s Solution Architect.
• Provide expert technical guidance across development initiatives.
• Mentor and support Product Owners and development teams, encouraging continuous learning and knowledge sharing.
• Act as a key liaison between engineering, product management, and business teams to ensure alignment.
• Oversee the technical planning and implementation of projects.
• Identify potential technical risks early and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure the timely delivery of reliable, high-quality software solutions.
• Serve as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for high-priority projects.
• Promote innovation and support continuous improvement of technical solutions and development practices.
• Support technical audits and ensure solutions meet legal and regulatory compliance requirements.

Total Years of Experience Required

• 25+ years of documented experience in vehicle diagnostics, SWDL, software architecture, and system integration.
• 15+ years of experience leading technical teams and managing complex projects within the automotive aftermarket domain.
