You will join a major data migration initiative in the retail sector, where modern cloud-based data solutions are being built and moved into a new target environment. This is a hands-on role for you who enjoy working close to the technology, solving practical data engineering challenges, and creating robust foundations for analytics and business use.

You will work in an environment centered on Google Cloud Platform, with a strong focus on scalable data flows, reliable integrations, and infrastructure that supports continued development over time. It is an exciting opportunity to work with a contemporary cloud stack in a migration project with clear impact on the client's data platform.

• You will build and migrate modern data solutions in a cloud-based environment.
• You will develop and maintain data pipelines and data transformations using GCP services and tools such as BigQuery, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, and Cloud Composer.
• You will work hands-on with SQL, Python, and DBT to structure, transform, and deliver data for downstream use.
• You will use Terraform to manage infrastructure as code and help create stable, repeatable deployments.
• You will contribute to version control workflows in GitHub and support efficient collaboration in the development process.
• You will work with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines to improve quality, automation, and delivery flow.
• You will collaborate with stakeholders and team members in an Agile setup and help move the migration forward in a practical and structured way.

• Strong experience in cloud-based data engineering, preferably within Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience with GCP services such as BigQuery, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, and Cloud Composer.
• Strong skills in SQL and Python.
• Experience with DBT.
• Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Understanding of at least one BI tool.
• Experience with GitHub and version control workflows.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• A relevant Google Cloud certification is required.

• Basic knowledge of Azure, depending on migration scope.
• Experience with Informatica or other ETL tools.
