About the role
We are looking for an Virtualization Test Engineer to join our virtualization test team. In this role, you work with HPC‑based virtual execution environments, focusing on how software behaves, integrates and scales when running virtually.
You will test Classic AUTOSAR in a virtual software environment, verify integrations, and ensure that Linux, containers and AUTOSAR‑based components run correctly together. Your work helps the team understand whether a delivery works as intended — and why.
What you will doTest and validate software in a virtual HPC environment
Integrate and verify Classic AUTOSAR architecture
Ensure smooth interaction across execution environments containing Linux, Android, adaptive AUTOSAR and Classic AUTOSAR
Work with GitHub workflows, code‑based documentation and PR reviews
Troubleshoot issues across virtualization layers
Contribute to removing and updating outdated tooling and improving the platform
Provide clear go/no‑go decisions based on validation results
You are a tester with multiple years of experience, comfortable working with complex systems and understanding how different software layers interact. You don’t just run tests, you reason about results, identify root causes and help improve the virtual platform.
Required skills and experienceWe’re looking for someone who takes initiative and naturally drives work forward. You take ownership of both the solution and the path to get there, making thoughtful technical decisions and following them through. You are comfortable shaping direction, designing with the future in mind and ensuring that the architecture you build remains scalable, maintainable and ready for what comes next.
Deep knowledge of Classic AUTOSAR architecture
Experience testing in virtualized software environments
Solid understanding of Linux‑based execution environments
Experience working with containers
Comfortable with workflows and code‑level documentation
Ability to reason about system behavior beyond individual test cases
Experience with Adaptive AUTOSAR
Understanding of automotive communication protocols (CAN, FlexRay, Ethernet)
Familiarity with ISO 26262
Embedded C/C++ experience
Experience in virtualizing hardware or execution environments
Knowledge of QNX or similar real‑time OS
