Group COO (Chief Operating Officer)

About the role

As Group COO, you are responsible for leading and developing the company’s global operations, including manufacturing, procurement, and logistics. You will drive operational performance, efficiency, and large-scale transformation across all markets.

You are part of the executive leadership team and report to the Group CEO.

Responsibilities

• Lead global operations across manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, and logistics
• Drive improvements in productivity, cost efficiency, quality, and delivery performance
• Lead enterprise-wide transformation initiatives, including network optimization and capability development
• Develop and implement strategies for an optimized and scalable manufacturing and logistics network
• Ensure effective demand and supply planning processes
• Develop and manage strategic sourcing and supplier relationships
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
• Develop teams and leadership within the operations function
• Collaborate with regional and local management to align operations with business needs

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in senior operations, supply chain, or manufacturing roles
• Experience from international and multi-site environments
• Proven track record of leading large-scale transformation and performance improvement initiatives
• Strong knowledge of supply chain management, procurement, and logistics
• Relevant academic degree (engineering, business, or similar)
• Experience from performance-driven or private equity-backed environments is an advantage
