Project Lead IT

Job Description:

The client is seeking an experienced Project Lead IT to manage and deliver complex IT projects within the Business and IT Development Support function. The role involves overseeing IT solutions that support shared functions and finance operations while contributing to the enhancement of IT capabilities such as integration, application development, and operations.

The selected candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and coordinating projects across all phases, ensuring alignment with defined objectives, timelines, and quality standards. This includes establishing project structures, defining scope and directives, estimating costs and capacity, and leading implementation or procurement activities.

Key responsibilities also include stakeholder engagement, progress reporting to the steering committee, managing budgets and resources, supervising suppliers, and ensuring smooth transition to operational teams. The role further involves driving process improvements, enabling new ways of working, managing data migration, and supporting training initiatives for end users.

Experience Required:

Minimum 8–10 years of overall IT experience with strong project management exposure

Education:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field

Skills Required:

• Strong expertise in project management methodologies (e.g., PPS or similar)
• Proven experience in leading complex IT projects
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure, integration, and application lifecycle management
• Experience with project reporting tools and resource planning
• Ability to manage stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams
• Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills

Language Requirement:

Swedish – Proficient (Mandatory)

English – Professional level

Location: Stockholm, Sweden (Onsite in Sundbyberg with up to 50% remote)

Job Mode: Hybrid (50% Remote)
