As a Cloud & Data Architect, you’ll play a key role in shaping and guiding Aurobay’s data and AI landscape. The role combines strategic architecture work with practical engagement close to platforms and teams – defining target architectures, setting standards, and supporting implementation across the organization. You’ll work with modern data platforms such as Databricks, cloud-native data and AI services, and the Microsoft ecosystem, ensuring that solutions are scalable, secure, and governed. Working closely with business, IT, security, and development teams, you’ll help translate data and AI ambitions into sustainable, compliant, and value‑driven architectures. If you enjoy combining technical depth with architectural oversight and influencing how data and AI are used across an enterprise, this role offers broad impact and long-term responsibility.

Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Data Engineering, AI, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• Proven experience in data, analytics, or AI architecture, including defining target architecture and guiding implementation teams
• Strong understanding of modern data and AI platforms, including Databricks, cloud-native data platforms, and AI services in Azure or equivalent environments
• Experience in designing architecture with focus on scalability, data governance, security, privacy, and regulatory compliance (e.g. GDPR and AI governance)

Your role at Aurobay

As a Cloud & Data Architect you will:

• Define and maintain AI and data architecture principles, standards, and target architectures, including platforms such as Databricks, aligned with enterprise and business strategy
• Guide and support development, data, and platform teams in the design and implementation of data pipelines, analytics platforms, and AI-enabled solutions
• Ensure data and AI architectures address data governance, security, privacy, and compliance requirements, in close collaboration with Security and Compliance functions
• Support responsible and compliant use of AI technologies by aligning architectures with internal policies and emerging regulatory requirements, such as the EU AI Act
• Participate in architectural decision forums, design reviews, and roadmap planning, ensuring alignment across business, IT, data, and security stakeholders
