Assignment Overview

We are looking for an Inventory Planning & Control Specialist

What You Will Work On

• Analyze inventory levels, inventory positioning, and production and sales forecasts.
• Develop and maintain key inputs to the inventory system including network changes, lead times, cost structures, delivery expectations, promotional activities, and new product introductions.
• Establish and implement a structured planning methodology covering short-, medium-, and long-term planning horizons.
• Drive the stabilization and organizational adoption of the planning methodology.
• Develop buffer strategies, sequencing logic, and clear governance for planning decisions.
• Plan and control inventory levels of finished goods across warehouses, distribution centers, and production sites.
• Ensure inventory availability meets sales and distribution requirements.
• Coordinate closely with logistics, production planning, and warehouse teams.
• Support routing, scheduling, and storage strategies to improve supply chain performance.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree or higher within Supply Chain Management, Production, Logistics, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
• Extensive experience working within supply chain planning or inventory management in industrial environments.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into planning strategies.
• Advanced presentation and stakeholder communication skills.
• High proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP and WMS systems.
• Experience implementing planning processes or supply chain methodologies.
• Coaching mindset with the ability to guide teams and influence organizations.
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Structured, proactive, and capable of working independently in complex operational environments.
