Role Overview

As Creative Director at Liseberg, you will be responsible for leading the organization’s most strategically important creative processes. Your mission is to ensure that Liseberg maintains a strong position as a destination, offering memorable physical and digital guest experiences. You hold endtoend responsibility for the conceptual foundations of Liseberg’s destination portfolio — including the amusement park, accommodation, water world, attractions, seasonal concepts, retail, games, and food & beverage.

The Creative Director is part of the Development Department and works closely with the Head of Department, project managers, and crossfunctional stakeholders across the organization. The role also includes regular collaboration with the CEO, corporate management, and other leadership teams, as well as external partners.

Key Responsibilities

Creative Strategy & Vision

  • Develop and maintain the overarching creative vision for the destination’s physical environments.

  • Strengthen Liseberg’s brand through clear and coherent storytelling and design.

  • Collaborate with internal functions to ensure alignment between creative ambition and operational requirements.

  • Ensure that themes, concepts, and creative directions support safety, sustainability, and financial goals.

Concept Development

  • Lead the development of creative concepts for new attractions, restaurants, accommodations, retail, games, environments, and seasonal offerings.

  • Oversee the creative process throughout all project phases, ensuring continuity and quality of approved concepts.

  • Represent Liseberg in external collaborations involving creative agencies, partnerships, or product development.

  • Guide and develop existing concepts to ensure consistent execution across all areas of the business.

Innovation & Trend Analysis

  • Monitor global developments within the attractions, hospitality, and experiencebased entertainment industries.

  • Provide insights and recommendations regarding new opportunities, partnerships, and innovations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in creative leadership within the amusement park industry, hospitality, events, or related fields.

  • Documented experience in leading largescale conceptual physical experience projects (Location Based Entertainment) from idea to execution.

  • Strong skills in visualization and storytelling; experience working with external IP is an advantage.

  • Proven ability to inspire, lead, and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken; Swedish speaking environment proficiency is required.

  • Working hours vary depending on seasonal, project and operational needs
